What Market Day Mode does

Market Day Mode is a Shopify app that lets merchants pause online sales for selected products during scheduled farmers market or in-person selling hours. The app only accesses the store data needed to apply and remove those temporary blackout settings.

Information we collect

When you install Market Day Mode, we receive and store the following information from Shopify:

• Your shop domain (myshopify.com domain)
• Your shop name and contact email
• Your Shopify access token, used to read and update product settings
• The market schedules and collections you configure in the app

We do not collect, store, or process any customer personal data, order history, payment information, or browsing behavior.

How we use your information

We use the data listed above solely to operate the app: applying product blackout settings during your scheduled market windows and restoring normal purchasing behavior when the window ends. We do not sell, rent, or share shop data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your shop record and access token only as long as the app remains installed. If you uninstall Market Day Mode, Shopify sends us an app/uninstalled webhook and we delete your shop record and access token from our systems within a reasonable time. You may also request deletion at any time by emailing us at the address below.

Security

Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are only used by our server to make authenticated requests to Shopify on your behalf. All communication with Shopify and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
